Hmm, perhaps I am too old school here? Still think it is a bit silly. Mind you if indeed it dŒs instill these qualities then good but a lot of it ought to have been learnt at school and home. I think if the person wants to be  manager then I can say well yes I understand that, but....?Embarrassed

There are just so many stupid rules and regulations it makes me wonder how the country even breaths let alone do dangerous work.

Matey - can I be Devils Advocate here Embarrassed  I did a little work with another Retailer along similar lines for Schools, and although on the face of it it dŒs sound a little ridiculous, it dŒs actually deliver some recognisable transferable skills, behaviours and values, - all along the lines of cash accounting, customer service contact, Team Building, health and safety, cleaning, operational skills like how all the machines work, break down and mended etc., - and housekeeping skills like presentation, and all the promotional stuff that they have, and how these deals are mounted and advertised.

I only know that the creator of The Muppets and Sesame Street, Jim Henson (seen in picture second left) is to make a film aboutthe life and times of the man behind the legendary children's show.

You may be lucky to see a pack or two coming, why not send a message to Tom to find out?

What?! That place are actually awarding kids a 'B' Grade GCSE adter a 10 day works experience!! What the heck is this pathetic country doing? Why should the UK go along with this company and allow them to undermine the education system?

Anyone can toss some frozen chips into a wire basket and then drop them into some hot fat for 10 minutes and then grab one of those silly card boxes and put the chips in. Anyone can flip one of those things they call burgers on one of those big grills and then put it on a bap, a leaf of lettuce a quick squirt of that mayonnaise that is more than likely contaminated by the spotty little brat in the back with those headphones in his ears.

Oh, hang on, I have just 'made' chips and a burger! Oh, great do I get a GCSE now?

What is wrong with the normal exams/qualifications you get now? Why do you have to have a work expeience just to 'make' a burger and chips? In my opinion, all they want are desperate kids to go along, work 10 days only to be told 'no you are not up to the rigorous McDonalds standard, thanks for 10 days of free labour!'Angry

Ace released a Mini Quart pack in the '80's if you are interested.
