I though I'd open a htread for people to givee comments on people who pass on....this is not a sick joke.

Last Night, comedian Ronnie Barker died peacefully in his home.  Born in 1929 Barker had done many funny roles but also some very good serious roles also.  A man with an exceedingly good grasp of English, he was a kind contradiction....he hated smut on TV yet some of the sketches he did were very close to it!

Well, rest in peace dude, you will be sadly missed

RONNIE BARKER 1929-2005

OMG

One of my fave comedy heroes of all time. He had a tremendous grip of the english language and was a master at punning words.

He will be sorely missed in my household

A great loss to British comedy, at least he got to see his much deserved star go down on the walk of fame before he passed.

One of the finest comedy actors this country has ever produced. He was known throughout the industry simply as 'The Guvnor' and I cannot think of a better way to describe him.

I am absolutely gutted that he has gone but at least they will now show some of his best performances for everyone to see, especially those who have not yet had the pleasure.

So It's goodnight from him.

One of the most generous and under-rated comedy writers of our time. A fine comedian and suprisingly good actor as well.

He will be missed.

I was shocked when I hear the news...even at my age, I know of him, and watched the recent version of their show in which they put togehter some of their best bits. And from those I could tell he was a fantastic and funny comedian.

May he find peace in death.

Nominated for Best Youngster in the second bi-annual PTT Awards.

Pat Morita, best known for being in Happy Days and as Mr Miyagi fromThe Karate Kid passed away from natural causes passed away last Friday of natural causes.

Very funny actor, will be sadly missed.

You've repeated yourself a bit in that post WG.

I do not know who on earth you are talking about, but it is still very sad when people die. R.I.P.
