Golly I love comic books! Yh Im a geek. I love the Marvel and DC top trumps, all my friends mock me because of that. Does anyone else like marvel or dc? I especially love the Fantastic Four.

I love the top trumps, the characters and the tv programmes but i haven't yet read a marvel or dc comic

I'm a DC fan have been for years with my faves being Batman, although I think Marvel's Hulk and Daredevil are pretty cool too.
I also like a lot of Dark Horse Comics, and have some Mask and Crow comics hanging around. |

I have a pretty big collection of Spiderman comics, a few Deadpool and stuff like that.
Never really got into DC comics but enjoyed the Aliens and Predator comics by Dark Horse around 15 years ago (Now I feel old!!) |

Well I ahve read some dark horse, like Hellboy and B.P.R.D and they're pretty cool, I never liked daredevil cos he seems a lil boring and I lvoe the spidey films but the comics iv read of him were pretty lame. Sorry.

Well I totally forgot about this thread.
Thanks to a certain member on here I have recently watched The Ultimate Avengers cartoon, which is awesome. Hopefully it is a pilot for a series or the first of more movies. But this got me to start reading The Ultimate Universe comics from Marvel. They are brilliant, i mean it is the old comics how the would be written today. For those of you who know about Marvel the coming og Gal Ack Tus is just occuring in Ultimate Extinction, and it is awesome. As I was downloading these comics, dont really have the space or money to be buying them, I came across a little comic called the exiles i had a quick read of one and i am hooked. Basically it is a comic which has taken six characters from different timelines and for them to get home they have to fix other timelines. It is brilliant. I will finish this later I have more exiles to read!! |

I didn't notice these at first in the newsagents but has anyone been collecting The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection, they come with history of the featured super-hero and a hand painted lead figure.

WOW cant believe ive missed this thread. i to love comics and must confess i to prefer dc to marvel,with batman being my fave(think i have every graphic novel written).i dont know why its batman for me except the fact that he is just a normal guy with loads of cash and gadgets rather than unbelievable super powers. i love frank millers batman books i think they are an incredible read.i like comics old and new but if anyone fancies a truly remarkable comic experience can i recomend Y:THE LAST MAN to you,a brilliant series which is just that little bit different. also love loads of others lobo,walking dead etc etc |

I recently got hold of all issues for the story "The Long
Halloween". Thi story arc was 14 months long and spanned all
Batman comics.....I rather get the seperate issues and I just think
they are cooler!
I recently obtained a giveaway comic (another Batman one) that was based on the "Dark Justice" game. |

ghost rider - Mystical bike rider his own comic - film to be released soon see pics in movies section.
Tiger Shark - was an avengers bad guy Tarantula - spidey assassin The Vision - robotic android based on wonderman, married to scarlet witch part of the avengers Black Bolt - was in the fantastic four comic book, leader of the inhumans, cant speak because a single whisper can destroy mountain tops. Silver Surfer - started off in the fantastic four, then had his own comic, he told earth that galactus was coming to devour the world Hammerhead - spidey badguy, one of the heads of the Maggia(they cant use maffia) Human Top - An original Invader, which was captain americas team in the 1940's, he can spin his body round really fast like a whirlwind. Galactus - All devouring entity that has been in creation since before the big bang. Feeds off of the life energies of planets one big bad Mother. Also started in Fantastic 4.
Iron Man - Appears in Iron Man, wears the armour because of a heart condition. Also an Avenger, has a drink problem. Mephisto - first appeared in Fantastic Four, ruler of hell. Captured Dr. Dooms mothers soul just to annoy him. The Gremlin - A russian mad scientist, who appeared in The Hulk comic. He was a nemisis of the hulk. Recently made armour similar to Iron Mans but is now deceased. Edited by Cooper |
