Has anyone here seen the Captain Maerica movie?  It is lame, pity really when you consider he is a cool character, but there again a lot of comic book movies suck...one of the worst offenders is Nick Fury which starred The Hoff.

 I saw this as well and on further investigation found that this rumour is slightly false, in that Will Smith is being considered by Marvel for Superhero status but as Nick Fury: Agent of Shield, which may be getting its own film and not appearing in Captain America afterall. Seeing as the script hasn't been wrote yet and no actors approached and a release date around 2009 I guess we'll have to wait and see.
 I will say though that in my humble opinion that if they are to do a Nick Fury film based on the Ultimates comics, then Will Smith should be replaced by Samuel L Jackson for the role - as he is the spit image of the comic book character just like Patrick Stewart was to Prof. Xavier.
