The Red Skull - Well this is the German equivalent of Captain America, badly disfigured by a secret formula meant for Cap. First appeared in Captain America comics way back in the 40's

The Sub-Mariner - Another World War superhero part of the Invaders with Cap, was Marvel's first Mutant, ruler of Atlantis, Marvel's first major Superhero. First modern appearance was as a bad guy for the Fantastic Four, competes with Mr Fantastic, for Invisible Woman's affection

Doctor Strange - First appeared in his own comic also, He is Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme, The greatest Mage on Earth. Has lead the most powerful superhero team of all time The Defenders, which consisted of Hulk, Silver Surfer, Himself and Sub Mariner.

Daredevil - Blind superhero first appeared in Spiderman, recently had a major movie starring ben affleck. Blind guy who has enhanced other senses.

The Abomination - Hulks major nemesis. Whereas Hulk lost his Brains during the Gamma Experiment the Abomination did not. As strong as the Hulk but a lot more smarter.

The Vulture - Old Multi Millionaire, who paid for a set of mechanical wings to be made for him to be able to be mobile, went insane and started petty crime, this lead to more intricate crime, and joined spideys bad guys the sinister six.

The Dread Dormammu - Doc Strange's Nemesis, A flame headed demon from the Dread Dimension. More powerful a mage than Doc Strange but has trouble getting to our dimension.

Morbius - A spidey bad guy who is also a type of vampire. He needs blood to survive but does not like killing, he has bouts where he does kill, but only out of necessity.

The Grizzly - Well this guy is amusing, he appeared in Spidey and has an exoskeleton of a grizzly bear. the exoskeleton also gives him the strength of ten bears. He went around telling everyone he killed spidey even though spidey was still alive. Lame-o

Absorbing Man - One of my favourite supervillains. First appeared in Thor. Loki (see later) created Absorbing Man to be able to absorb any material he touches. Fights Thor using the metal from Thors Hammer.

The Black Panther - African King of Wakanda, he is a member of the fantastic four and of the Avengers. He is an olympic athlete with keen senses. Recently married Storm.

Goliath - Founding member of the Avengers. Married to Wasp. Can grow up to 60ft.

The Wasp - Founding member of the Avengers. Married to Goliath. Can shrink down to less than an inch.

Loki - Step brother of Thor, Asgardian God of Lies, Has been a thorn in Thors side since his first day.

These Avengers you said about, I take it there a bit like the X-Men, a group of Super Heros all clubbed together, and these characters are only in the comic books and not on screen?

I wouldnt know, but i have this friend who uses it and he says it is something similar.

He also says that if you typed in Ultimate avengers, both the comics and the movie would come up, which are both awesome he says

um....yeah (the meds, the meds)

Anyway back to topic, yeah look up new avengers they are some good comics and also ultimate avengers.

New avengers is all about the bad guys breaking out of a high security prison, and a bunch of superheroes having to stop them
