Well its the Grand National tomorrow and since its the only day that everyone has a bet I just wondered who everyone is going for.

I backed NumberSixValverde a few weeks ago at 16/1 and I backed Haut De Gamme at 50/1 several months ago.

I think I may back Clan Royal and Hedgehunter tomorrow which will leave me with my usual 4 picks.

Winner of 'Best Haircut' Award 2005!
Winner of 'Stating the Bleeding Obvious' Award 2005!
Winner of 'PTT Weekly Compo' Week 16!

I've picked Garvinnian (I think that's the name) at a rate of 14/1.

Sorry didn't see the other thread but it had got silly anyway.

Out of my 4 picks I got the first 3 home but I didn't do the tricast. I am not that worried though as the £400 I won on the winner was sweet enough

For a second I thought I was going to have a winner with bally cassidy I thought ge could get second, but fell. On all the horses I bet on I put a (bugger I forgot what its called that thing were you double you're money so it still wins if it comes in the top four) except from clan royal which was also the most i put on £6.00 forhetting to do that thing if I did that I would have quite a big profit along with numbersixwaldere which I put a fiver on.

Welldone on your winnings SS.

Are we the only people who placed a bet?

Just seen a trailer for upcoming events on the BBC HD channel which included the Grand National.

Must be a first particularly as they use about 30 cameras for it.

I thought the BBC did great on this. Excellent coverage, and a really good sequence of interviews after the race.

Very well done and nice to have it in HD as well.
