Wow. These last few days of lying on the sofa ill has led to me watching about ten different Top Gear repeats. I love it a lot still even though I watched it so much.

Shane Warne has apparently accepted a role as the presenter of a new series of Top Gear Australia. The ex-cricketer, who is known for his love of fast cars, is believed to be hosting six episodes of the motoring show with the presenter of the UK's version, Jeremy Clarkson.

Top Gear will be back for another run starting 15th November on BBC2.
It might be a new time slot at 9pm but will need to verify it though. Edited by Medusa - 04 November 2009 at 18:57 |

Glad to see The Stig and Jeremy playing a variation on the Top Gear: Cool Cars Top Trumps. The stats were replaced by things like "Seat Massagers, Front and Back" or just "front". Try to find out whether WM actually made this for them or if they personally changed it.

I missed it last night therefore I cannot comment about it!
I heard about the Top Trumps cards, I wonder whether they were the original ones shown? Edited by Medusa - 16 November 2009 at 22:39 |

Oh right. The writing on the right is where the stats should be. That is all. Check Rogue's preview on his site.

I only got the STT's ones but they're still sealed.
Look like there could be another pack on the way? Just a hunch! |

Some sites list a "TOP TRUMPS - TOP GEAR STUNTS - SPECIALS 3D" deck, although I'm not sure as to when/if its due ?

Well, I liked it when the Stig got fed up with the game and through the table over. Glad to hear that a new pack may be on the way. Maybe a range of Top Gear packs such as Challenges, Celebrity guests as well

Think it was 2007 when Top Gear Cool Cars came out.
Last night on BBC2 it was the 1st part of 7 so another 6 weeks to go, presumably end around Christmas time. Then give another 2 months for a period of rest! So I guess maybe in March as I can't seeing it coming out while Top Gear is on the box. Edited by Medusa - 17 November 2009 at 17:06 |

Well, I would say that they are both official although the BBC one comes up first on Google.

Funny thing about all of the stunts involving the Army.
Jeremy Clarkson and his team have wasted more than four months of army personnel's time filming stunts for Top Gear, it was claimed yesterday. Whether you think it's a waste is down to how much you appreciate the stunts produced, but the BBC have been accused of squandering resources whilst British forces are fighting a war in Afghanistan. Equipment worth billions was put at the disposal of the Top Gear team. They first used the armed forces five years ago when a helicopter tried to lock a missile on to Clarkson's Lotus. A year later he took on a tank with a Range Rover and tried to avoid sniper fire in a Porsche. Then in 2006 Richard Hammond raced a Porsche against a parachutist while in the following year HMS Ark Royal was used as a backdrop and a Bugatti was raced against an RAF Typhoon. In 2008 Clarkson took part in a beach assault with the Marines who gave the equivalent of 63 working days. This May a game of British bulldog with some of the Army's latest armour took 60 days of soldiers' time. Lib Dem defence spokesman Willie Rennie said: "The stunts are no doubt great fun. But are they a good use of manpower? "Have we really spent billions buying the best equipment for troops just to see it used to keep Jeremy Clarkson entertained?" The MoD have said the stunts were a chance to raise awareness and resources were not diverted from war operations. It seems the show's penchant for blowing things up with army assistance may have backfired this time. |
