Winning Moves REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to do a revised HORROR set. Way back in the old days they were the 'coolest' cards to have.

We want new Horror cards !!!!!!!!!

Seconded. The Simpsons Horror pack was a good pack... but where was the horror? The two original sets were the coolest because they were that little bit scary and your mum didn't like them.

My favourite was probably the 'Death' card from the Devil Priest set.

My fav was probably the King Kong card. He could be beaten but 100 strength was always a dead cert. For a new set of Horror the stats do need to be revised. The original 4 categories made it very easy to win if you had a couple of good cards (Dracula, Prince of Darknes, thor or Death). They would need revising to todays standards like gore factor !! LOL or  Body Count hahaha.

What categories do you think a revised set should have??

WOOF WOOF

Ideas for other packs

Apart from my passion in getting a new revised HORROR set what about some other pack suggestions. Heres a few for starters.

Olympic Stars  - Help promote Londons Olympic Bid

Construction Vehicles - Cranes, JCB's etc

We have football and rugby what about cricket

NFL what better way to get TT's into the American Market plus they would be popular here in the UK. Do a pro-bowl set.

An Update of the World Record Holders wouldnt go amiss either

Come on guys what else would you like to see.

Some good ideas there K9. I especially like the construction type vehicles one - I loved the old H.P. Giants set!

Western Gunfighters was another cool and unusual pack despite the sucky artwork.

Spacecraft - I was all excited when I saw a Space pack was coming out this year, only to find it was just statistics on planets and such like. What I'd really like to see is an update of the old spacecraft pack - but without all of the naff satellites and stuff in it. Actually, now that I think about it, just a Star Wars only Vehicles/Ships pack would be fantastic.

Star Trek - now there's a license with long legs. You've got the original series, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and the films to draw upon. Either a character based or ship based pack would be excellent.

There's also a lot of 'basic' type packs that have yet to be covered - things like Formula 1Planes (civilian not military), Helicopters, Tanks/Military Vehicles, Speedboats etc. Although the new Ace packs do cover a lot of these off.

How about branded car packs - Ferrari, Porsche etc.

without giving any games away, you'll be glad to see that at least 1 (if not more) of the suggested packs above is on the way!!!

Only thing you'll have to wait and see is which one(s)...

Good to know your feedback people, as a number of the other suggestions were also already on the radar.

Watch this space...

Come now Mr PTT you being coy all of a sudden. The 'in the pipeline' page under packs menu say that WWE Wrestling is coming out in March. Unless of course wiggum mean World Wildlife Foundation? !!

Try giving us some clues as to what packs are scheduled and first correct reply wins a pack.!!!

Wiggum

As i suspected it was for wrestling. And if we are to belive the info on this PTT site then they are supposed to be releasing a Wrestling pack in March this year. Will have to wait and see whats in the pack, unless they give us forum members advance copys before they hit the streets. Think of the word of mouth advertising we could generate for them.

As for licenses, who knows but PTT and Winning Moves what the costs are involved. At the end of the day it all comes down to money.

Talking of horror i would love to have a more modern horror pack, to include Hr Gigers Alien the greatest creation ever.
The spaceships sounds great also, definatly has to have the liberator in there. I know these are both sci-fi, but i like that.
Gotta have Daleks, Tardis, Cybermen well there could just be a pack of Doctor Who alone.
Motor cycles as in modern road machines.
A WW2 aircraft one spitfire, hurracane, mesherchmit sorry lousy speller. This could include the jet models also.
heck i could go on all day, How about dungeons and dragons. I know there are always going to be liscence costs.

I would like to see a Harry Potter set out, one for each movie or possibly one for every three movies. There's students, teachers, ghosts, muggles etc., and I think it would make for a very good set of Top Trumps. Suggestions for categories could be something like Magic, Height, possibly Age, Brains, Magical Skill, Strength, Courage, and maybe some different ones, thats just off the top of my head.

I suppose it may be quite difficult to get a license for them, but they did it for Lord of the Rings, didn't they?

Nominated for Best Youngster in the second bi-annual PTT Awards.

sorry for the double post.

i also feel that a very final Lord of the Rings set could be eeked out, completing an ultimate collection of top trumps.

this set would be called something like Lord of the Rings: The Minor Characters, and would have the remaining characters/creatures that were in the films but were not included within the original sets of Top Trumps.

These would include: Brego, Rosie Cotton, Theodred, Gloin, Watcher in the Water, Hama, Gamling and more.

I think these cards would be very popular amongst Lord of the Rings and Top Trumps fans like myself, and would be a fitting end to a superb ultimate collection.

Nominated for Best Youngster in the second bi-annual PTT Awards.

With Dr Who returning to our screens this year, I think that would make a good pack. I had the ones that were out in the 70's, but like most things from back then sadly they are no more
