How about a deck(s) covering the worlds of Gerry Anderson. It could comprise of characters from his most popular shows from Supercar right the way through to Space Precinct.

Gerry Anderson? Not a bad choice bobmani, he's still around that old bloke 80 years old. Wish he get a knighthood but awarded an MBE.
![]() He's just a screenwriter, producer and director nothing more. Famous for Thunderbirds but also for: The Adventures of Twizzle Torchy the Battery Boy Four Feather Falls Supercar Fireball XL5 Stingray Captain Scarlet Joe 90 The Secret Service UFO The Protectors Space:1999 Terrahawks Dick Spanner Space Precinet Lavender Castle Firestorm I can't see anything promising here considering there were old programmes back mostly in the 60s and the 70s but a Science Fiction Pack would be a good bet to claim a place? Thunderbirds be top choice maybe? Edited by Medusa - 11 October 2009 at 22:55 |

Very interesting to hear that the video game Warcraft is coming to the big screen.
I would be interested to see that for Top Trumps too no doubt about that. The story will be an original set within the world of the popular role-playing game, not an adaptation of the book 'Arthas: Rise of the Lich King'. Warner Bros. plans a 2011 release for the movie. I hope Tom would read this and consider my suggestion.....

Bad news folks, look like less likely of a Bagpuss Pack happening...... Bagpuss is unlikely to return to TV after all, as creator Oliver Postgateās son does not want a heartless new version that could be 'tarnished' by lurid CGI animation. However, a spin-off based on the mice who play the Marvellous Mechanical Mouse Organ in the kids classic is a possibility. Edited by Medusa - 15 October 2009 at 08:18 |

I believe that Top Trumps made a mistake in not doing a pack on Sarah Jane Adventures.
It has been generally well received by critics and the viewing public. The 3rd series start today and no doubt would last for a while. However, I still believe that it is not too late to make one as the BBC is pretty loyal to the programme due to relations with Doctor Who. Edited by Medusa - 15 October 2009 at 15:59 |

I suggested this on the PTT website last year, but nothing came of it. I thought you could make them compatible with the doctor who packs as well

Absolutely spot on, they probably think the programme be rubbish and the BBC would axe it after one year.
They should realise that Sarah Jane Adventures is no doubt becoming more successful and could be the greatest spin off since Doctor Who? |

I think that Top Trumps should do cover both Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures in future decks. Doctor Who has been a really successful license for Top Trumps. Of course I would be quite happy if they merged TW and SJA in a future DW deck.
Speaking of DW, would you like to see a TT deck just covering the last four episodes starring David Tennant as The Doctor?

I actually believed that Top Trumps considered doing Torchwood Pack but backed out because the BBC messed it up by transmitting 5 epsiodes earlier this year so it was cut and buried.
Something is telling me in my head that there was a Sarah Jane card in Doctor Who 40 Years Pack but I will need to check that out as I may be wrong. I would definitely say that a new Doctor Who pack is happening and should be out next year so the last four episodes starring David Tennant as the Doctor would not happen. I strongly suggest that there should be newer characters such as the new Doctor Who aka Matt Smith, his assistant, maybe Sarah Janes might make an appearance who knows, rumour of a Van Gogh card possibly and so on? I would hate to see the old faces again, let hope that Top Trumps would tread carefully and seek advice from the production team at the BBC. Having all three in one pack would be struggling due to only 30 cards in a pack but maybe in the future they could consider my suggestion and release 2 packs - one with Doctor Who Heroes and one with Doctor Who Villiains? Phew! Goodness me! That would be magnificent! Edited by Medusa - 17 October 2009 at 19:01 |

I would strongly ask Top Trumps to consider my suggestion to do a pack on the X-Files as there is another movie (yes a third!) in the pipeline.
David Duchovny has revealed that he would like to see a third X-Files movie in cinemas by 2012. Co-star Gillian Anderson previously hinted that a third film is in the works and that she is on board to play Dana Scully. ![]() It would be a dream come true and I would certainly splash out for a pack or even a few depending how good it be. Do we have a good chance if Top Trumps, considering thinking of doing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pack?
Today, Children's TV network Nickelodeon has purchased the rights to the franchise. They will produce a new cartoon series and also plan to release a full-length feature based on the characters. The television version is scheduled to debut in 2012. ![]() Edited by Medusa - 22 October 2009 at 19:06 |

Obviously Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had a big merchandise some years ago but not sure how many cards games.
Let hope that Top Trumps would do an English version soon. What is this one? The name Shredder below so if you look at another picture bottom right with the same name. Coincidence? ![]() Official one........ ![]() ![]() Edited by Medusa - 23 October 2009 at 11:29 |

Let say that if Top Trumps doesn't want to do musicals because it is too much to produce but may consider a single musical instead?
I have a suggestion in mind. There are plans to make a Mammia Mia! sequel so I feel that a lot of people would be interested to buy one and Top Trumps would make a big tidy profit too? The 2008 film version of the West End musical grossed more than a billion pounds worldwide. Edited by Medusa - 24 October 2009 at 21:15 |

I hope that Top Trumps would do another 007 'Bond 23' pack.
Then of course I don't know whether a re release of the first 007 pack due to a mistake and still waiting for the Bond Girls too. The 23rd James Bond movie will start filming in 2010. Expected to open in cinemas towards the end of 2011. |

I hope Top Trumps is thinking of doing A-Team.
20th Century Fox has released the first picture of the A-Team cast. From left to right: Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson as BA Baracus Sharlto Copley as Capt 'Howling Mad' Murdock Liam Neeson as Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith The A-Team is released in cinemas on July 20, 2010. ![]() |

I was reading on a new survey by cinema advertising company Pearl and Dean about naming their favourite movie vampire and I thought a vampire pack would breathe a change of direction for Top Trumps? The top ten favourite movie vampires were: 1. Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson, Twilight) |

Surely, Top Trumps must release a World Cup 2012 pack involving players from their countries not just England?
Could have great goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and attackers from teams that have qualified for the tournament. It would be outrage if this would happen and I could see a boycott too! |

This is interesting folks....
........Sony Pictures Entertainment has obtained the motion picture rights to Hasbro board game Risk. Director Ridley Scott has been talking about directing Monopoly for some time now and Peter Berg is still waiting to board Battleship movie. It would work well for Top Trumps too except for Monopoly (dunno how would this work!). I am in favour for Risk but would welcome Battleship too. |

I mentioned a few months ago that I am hoping to see a Tintin pack so I am wondering whether anyone sent a message to Tom about it?
As we already know that there will be a film coming out in 2011 starring Daniel Craig. I will need to check whether it would be just one film or more! In my personal opinion, if Tintin coming here, it would be one of the most greatest pack ever. |
