Not every remake is but most are I must agree. However I was saying that the film was released first, before the TV show. So it's not a remake but more of an introduction to the show it's self and the characters, I think (according to the back cover description anyway). I might just give it a try at the weekend and tell you all what I thought of it. Wink

It is a great film. Went to watch Avatar but it was sold out so watched that instead. It was a great film.

Basil Rathbone is my favourite Sherlock Holmes. Absolute gem.

I agree Solar Dragon, it was a great film indeed. Thumbs%20Up I watched it last night and thought it was great.

Lost - 12-15 minutes of additional footage that was not seen on tv will be part of the dvd (final sixth season) and Bluray releases later this year.

The UK release is a month after, September 26th.

But the US Blurays should be region free.

The collectible packaging also includes: a Special Edition collectible 'Senet' Game as seen in Season Six, a custom Lost island replica, an exclusive episode guide, a collectible Ankh, and a black light penlight.Shocked

Did anyone else try to buy the new Alice in Wonderland today?



I had no idea that the blooming thing was not coming out till Friday, does anyone know why? Usually DVD's come out on Monday's, or so I thought.

Hmm.. Could be cause it's a holiday but surely they could release it the following week, I would have thought so anyway.

So has nobody got the Alice In Wonderland pack yet? I have been looking for it, has it not even been released?

The last Doctor Who pack was Collectors Edition 45 Years.

Was it back in 2008 Spring? If it was then it went on sale without delay I think!

I bought these two DVD's recently. I have heard of them but has anyone seen them yet? I was thinking about watching one this afternoon (not tonight obviously Britain's Got Talent's on!).

Anyway would you recomennd either one being better than the other?

One was 2012?


The other was The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?
