To be honest I can't really complain about getting two of the pack. I unearthed an email that WM sent and they asked subscribers to say if they still wanted the pack or not. They did a great job but i'm slow at checking my emails!

I've just been trying to insert an image...OMG, how hard is that? How the chuff are you supposed to do that? Needless to say, if you want to look at it, you will have to go somewhere else, hint, hint, ahem to view it. (is that ok Ian?) P.S-can someone tell me how to post images? Bit of a technical doofus

No worries mate
Go to where your image may be on-line, right-click over it and select properties and highlight and copy the address URL fully, then if you click the "Post Reply" icon to the bottom left of the previous post made on here, you should see a "tree" icon
in the options, click this tree icon and paste the image URL into the image URL box, click OK and hopefully your image should appear. |

Better late than never I suppose, but here is the image from you know where. Ironically it has ended now????
Thanks for the technical lesson-you wouldn't believe that I was an ICT specialist in school would you?

I noticed that too, ended due to an error in the listing, so maybe it was a mistake.

Yeah my understanding is that this was a false alarm and that the image above shows the front of the card from the pack and the back of a Woolies STT

It doesn't help though when you think that a little nugget has turned up!!
Once again, Ian, thanks for the help with images.

Well another trip to Woolworths has taken place.
This time i actually purchased the Pack of Top Trumps and asked about the promotion pack again.
They still deny ever having seen any but did say they recieved some watches to use as promotion.
Do you still have any of the watches i ask and maybe i could have one of those.
Yes we still have some she said but you can't have one as we have put them out in the shop for sale at £5 each.
Why i continued to buy the pack at this point i have no idea. Why do Top Trumps use shops like Woolworths for promotions when they clearly do not want to know.
An email to Woolworths customer services a few weeks ago about all this has also gone unnanswered. Edited by stewart - 07 June 2008 at 12:48 |
