I feel that North Korea should not be in the World Cup due to nuclear threats.

North Korea has violated its own denuclearization commitments and United Nations Security Council resolutions with its reprocessing of plutonium for atomic weapons production!

The Scottish Football Association will meet later in the week to discuss the future of Scotland manager George Burley.

Look like he is getting the boot.

Sir Alex Ferguson will have to end his six-year ban on giving interviews to BBC reporters under newly agreed rules coming into force next season.

Under the new regulations, any manager who refuses to speak to designated media will be judged in breach of Premier League rules and appropriately punished.

A court has ordered a Danish football supporter to pay £108,000 in compensation for interrupting a European Championship qualifier between Denmark and Sweden.

Ronni Noervig was responsible for the financial loss the Danish football federation sustained after he stormed the pitch in an attempt to attack German referee Herbert Fandel on June 2, 2007.

The match was abandoned, and Sweden was awarded a 3-0 win.

Denmark had to play two qualifiers away from its Copenhagen national stadium. They had orginally sued Noervig for £170,000 in lost ticket sales.

I'm still gobsmacked by the Henry goal last night. What a cheat. There was no instinct in that second touch! Can't see it happening but let's hope FIFA put their money where their mouth is!!

One of my History classmates is from France. My teacher played the handball over and over for 5 minutes with him saying it was not a handball and my teacher trying to prove him wrong. It was quite funny. ROI should have won and the referee should be sacked.

Fifa - its disciplinary code says referee's decisions 'are final'.

There is a referee on the pitch and if he didn't see that's not France's problem!

Tottenham vs Wigan was an amazing score. 9-1 to Spurs! Defoe scoring 5 goals. I can't believe it and Fabio Capello HAS to choose Defoe for South Africa.

It was just one game but if Defoe keeps scoring then he will get a place.

Fabio Capello is focusing on taking players that are regularly playing week in week out.

What happened to Wigan was just a blip.

Channel Five will follow Liverpool’s Europa League campaign when they enter the knockout stages of the competition next year.

The broadcaster has the first pick of matches in every round of the competition all the way to the final in Hamburg, which will also air live on Five.

The draw for the last 32 will take place on 18th December with games being played in February.

The top two teams in each of the 12 Europa League groups automatically qualify for the next stage of the competition, with other eight places going to the third places teams from the Champions League group stages.

Fifa has signed an agreement with Sony to film up to 25 games from the finals in South Africa in 3D.

Fans will be able to watch the games on 3D-ready televisions at home or at special public screens in seven cities around the world, including London, using special glasses.

I'm concerned about North Korea due to a tough group with Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast.

The pressure must be really bad morale for the team considering the tough stance from their government?

Thanks goodness that they didn't get the USA as that would be a politcial bombshell over nuclear weapons!

Brazil v Portugal is the one I would like to watch.
