The new football season has started for most leagues. Manchester nited Played Portsmouth for the Comunity Shield yesterday. It was 3-1 in penaltys to Manchester United.
The Premier League starts on Saturday

This season is pony so far, hopefully in the next few weeks we can get back to winning ways and Man U can begin to lose! The 1-1 draw to Newcastle was laughable

Shrewsbury should do well this year as they are managed by ex Carlisle manager Paul Simpson. He took us up 2 years ago before his disasterous move to Preston.
Hull City will struggle this year. Unfortunately because of the big money in the premiership, it is an unfair playing field and those that come up risk financial ruin if they sign big money players and then go down. The parachute payments help somewhat but generally it is the promoted teams that go back down again.

Because, like I said in an erlier post, I supoort the underdogs. Man U are like at the top of the chain and are better than nearly all teams making them the least Underdogish team.
I like worse teams to win against the big teams and Man U are like the biggest since they won the Premier league twice in a row.
Donb't worry. I hate Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal as well.

And you do have a point there as Man Utd are the best team in the world I heard from TV (and my brain .)
I would be happy if Grimsby Town beat Man Utd (yeah right! Never would happen although they did beat Liverpool once! My dad went to see that match because he supports Liverpool He was gutted! I think it was before I was born .)
Anyway, I suppose it would be a great moment to see a small team win against a top team. |
