Did a search but couldn't find anything. What have you seen on Television recently? I have recently seen The Bill and Eastenders. Not a lot else though.

I'm enjoying watching Who Do You Think You Are? and Maestro.
If you've got catch-up you must watch the Jerry Springer episode, where he went back to search for how some of his relatives both escaped and perished in the Holocaust - I'm not ashamed to say it moved me to tears, I think its one of the most moving programmes I've ever seen on TV.
As for Maestro, its a few celebs learning to conduct an orchestra, but its really good.

I've heard that Maestro is a useless waste of time. I perosnally don't like that sort of programme.

It is really a shame (sometimes) that there is just NO WAY me getting British TV over here (besides some BBC stuff via WWW though).
Well, I still don't have TV at home but my parents HAD to record every single Dr. Who episodes that was finally shown over here!
That AND Moonlight (I am STILL a vampire-Fan though I do know that the series not really a big hit

Cooper, I would LOVE to! But unfortunately that in one of many (unfortunately too many in my humble opinion
) you can only use, when actual in the country (therefore for BBC, in the UK
)I do know that there are ways to bypass those technologies but again I don't have too many know how - and I also guess it would be kind of illegal, wouldn't it?!? ![]() But many thanks for your help! Much appreciated! ![]() Sky in France?!? Well, maybe it is just because the country is near by?!? ![]() But seriously, when I used to have a Sat. dish I run all through Berlin trying to get one of those receivers - but even there were still many UK soldiers no shop could sell me such... |

I watched Casualty last night.
One of the nurses, Tess, chased a girl for causing damage in the Hospital. The wenty into a building yard where Tess tripped and got impaled! Then the girl nicked her phone, took a picture, and ran off. When the girl regretted it, she started to go back, crossed the road without looking and got ran over by an Ambulance with a patient in the back! She went flying. It was a great episode.

Well, the next episode was yesterday night.
Tess survived. She just let go in the middle of the night as the nurses found her. Charlie's car got smashed up in a riot when the girl got hit. it was pretty funny. Big Mac, a porter, came walking down the road whistling. It was thanks to his knowledge of thearea they found Tess. Abs, another nurse, took Charlie's car when he was made to leave it by gang members. They took the keys so he had to hotwire it.
Well, Tess survived. All the members of The ED were relieved. Edited by Solar Dragon - 15 September 2008 at 20:45 |

I saw quite a bit of that casualty episode. I've been trying to watch a new tv series, don't know if any of you have heard of it but it's called top trumps.
I've been looking for the heroes thread for about half an hour and have failed to find it, maybe it was submerged in another thread? Anyway this seems to be the most appropriate place to put it.
Season three of heroes will air on Monday, September 22, 2008 on the NBC network in the US and will premiere in the UK on BBC 2 on Wednesday 1st of October at 9pm and will open with a two hour episode (Two episodes back to back). Volume 3 "Villains" will begin the season and last for 13 episodes while "Fugitives" (Volume 4) will make up the last 12 episodes of season 3. Apparently Matt finds out who shot Nathan according to wikipedia, I think that it's either Noah, or a new character, I wonder if the word shot means that he is still alive? hmm. Doesn't say anything about Niki, so I assume that she has bitten the dust. Also the first two episodes must be set in the past as hiro's dad and Mr Linderman appear. I watched Maestro and I thought it was quite interesting, can't beat a bit of culture now and then.
That aside I have recently been watching Harry And Paul, Smallville, and CSI Miami.

That new programme: "Stephen Fry in America" is really good. The first one was on last night on BBC1. I haven't watched it yet but it looks brilliant. He is travelling round all of the 50 states in a London Cab.
"In this first episode, he explores the states that make up New England, before heading south to the nation's capital and ending up at the civil war battlefield of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania." |
