Dont Know And Is There any online game competitions anymore??? Confused
 
also it would be fun to have a top trumps game to play against ppl online if you have the deck that is would be nice !!!! Embarrassed

Just to say, PTT have started to update a few things on the site. The Pipeline is finally clear! No more old packs. There is a new vote and Tom has answered yet another How many cards in a pack question.

ok some fresh perspective. Can we have accurate and up-to-date lists of all WM Top Trumps packs released (cards within the packs, release date, rarity) with information on associated STT's. Secondly, can all the Top Trumps Live work (nascar and nba need effort to find them and Bratz doesn't work, and be found in one central location as they are all over the place, homepage, games and live sections. Thirdly can pack releases have accurate release dates. Forthly, can other members see the profile cards that we create?

Sort out the hall of fame and make it worthwhile for people to add "MY PACKS". Get more competitions going as well :-) Get rid of the naff polls on the homepage.

I feel that in the forum, Top Trumps 3D should be placed between Top Trumps Chat and Top Trumps Console.
 
The '3D' does get more updates than 'Console' and more relevant surely due to the packs itself?

Just heard that Disney is working on an Alice In Wonderland game series to tie in with the upcoming Tim Burton film.
 
I would be in favour of a new pack on this, the film is due to be out in cinemas 12th March 2010.
 
Alternatively a Lewis Carroll pack who wrote the book.Tongue

It is saddening to hear that a lot of members here is fed up of hearing things like 'coming soon' and when is the pack coming out etc..
 
I would propose that the forthcoming packs release dates should be inserted in the calender so everyone would know what packs is coming and when so surely it would be easier and cause less frustration?

I have a few ideas and hope not too many have already been mentioned as reading through four pages isn't on tonight's agenda.
 
1) Make the home page more about the core product - its a CARD game. I'm not living in the past and heaven forbid I start to but, the appeal of a card game is the interaction with the PERSON they are playing against.  I see a place for on-line card games but these should be live with potential to type comments and interact with your opponent. Like MS Messenger -they show when you are about and if you would like a game. This will draw people to the site and encourage the PTT experience.
 
2) Top Trumps 3D - Good idea and an interesting a teaching tool but trust me when I say the PTT home page is comsumed by it and it only needs to be a link to a download section. The rest of the content has gone but where?
 
3) Downloads - have an official Top Trumps list that members can download. Include in it the number of packs printed/circulated. Do the same for STT's I know that will have been mentioned... Have a wallpapers section and Create-your-own-trumps software (you may get a gem of idea) I know copyright will get in the way but it is just an idea.
 
4) Add a Juniors home page (target the audience) Families with younger children will want big buttons and bright straight-forward instructions. also a small exit button to prevent the kids going back to youtube
 
5) Update the Shop pleeeease. Have an Mpeg mini screen next to each pack that plays a small trailer of the pack subject when you click on it.
Also this is PTT so where is the merchandise? I am so proud of my Top Trumps Mug I use it every day.
 
6) Competitions - PTT give away packs and GMH every month just for being a member (not had a GMH yet...Hint Hint) Spice it up with regional competitions in places like Toys R Us - have a national final inviting the contenders to a huge Toy Fair to play-off against one another for the PTT Player of the year award.
 
I've got a few more around the on-line side but I gotta go...
