So what did everyone think of the season finale?  So, Rose was Bad Wolf...interesting.  What was even more interesting was getting to meet the new Dr Who.  I do have one question though, Chris Eccleston has agreed to do the Christmas special (The Christmas Invasion if I saw correctly on the credits) then what part will he play exactly?

As with older episodes when different incarnations of doctors meet each other I would imagine somehow the present doctor (David Tennant) will travel to a point in time when the previous Doctor (Chris Eccleston) is located.
Time travel allows this to happen.
Or maybe they don't meet and the Christmas Invasion requires both doctors on their seperate timeline to do something.
The only question I have is will there be 2 Roses, one with Chris Eccleston and one with David Tennant

And the finale last night was fantastic. Going through all clues on different websites I had deciced that either Rose or the Doctor was Bad Wolf. So was quite pleased to find I was right

Yeah had a feeling it was Rose after discovering the hidden text on the Bad Wolf disclaimer.

The other thing that I thought was interesting was Eccleston announced he was quitting after all the episodes were made (Think it was announced after the first episode was aired) and then we see the 13th episode that he regenerates, it made me wonder, was the 13th episode "tacked on" after the announcement and was it really supposed to be the first episode of season 2?

I suppose It could be, but then again you only see about 15 seconds of the new Doctor.

I think it is a pity that Eccleston quit after just one series, I thought he was a really good doctor (But no one will ever beat Tom Baker for me, he the man!  He also a really nice man to talk to, met him in April and he signed my copy of Little Britain...).  I wonder if Tennant will be able to fill these shoes just as well....only timw will tell I guess.  Roll on Christmas for the next dose of Dr Who goodness!

By the way Robbo, what were the other clues you found in regard to Bad Wolf?  I only found the hidden text in the disclaimer.

Well my fave was allways Tom Baker and that was one of the main reasons i couldnt bring myself to watch the new series,as i just didnt think it would do the earlier episodes justice.so i must confess i havent even watched five minutes of a single episode, though listening to some of you guys on the forum iam begining to wish  i had done.

I'll still be buying the series on DVD when it comes out as a box set.

Speaking of DVDs, does anyone know if they are going to do box sets of the series for the others?  Also anyone know if the Comic Relief Dr Who will be released on DVD?  I know it was released on VHS...

Well as you know there are several clues on different websites (all set up officially by the BBC). Still worth taking a look at

The first one the badwolf site BAD WOLF. To be honest not much clues apart from on the disclaimer page. First off the "Bad Wolf is not real" message. Plus the hidden message.

The second one is the GeoComTex site, GeoComTex, nothing much with regards to Rose, I think this is one big herring site. This is actually the site and company that Adam Mitchell supposingly set up after being dropped back off at home by the Doctor. The only clues on here were pointing towards the Daleks return and sort of hinted that Adam was responsible in some way, some Dr Who forums were even saying taht Adam was going to be Davros (the third eye thing) leader of daleks and I believe this was actually filmed as a fake scene. Take a look at the Products page and it gives you a breakdown of the bits to make a Dalek. More interesting though is some of the components like "Argentum Ordnance" which really means Silver Bullets. And another item is "Node Stabilised (Lupus and Nocens varieties), Lupus being Latin for Wolf and Nocens (as in innocent) Guilt (or Bad). This whole site points that the Bad Wolf is in fact a Danger to the Daleks and not to our heroes.
So in essence Bad Wolf must be either The Doctor, Rose, The Tardis or Captain Jack.

Remember the episode with the Slitheen in Downing Street, and the Doctor gets Mickey to log onto the United Nations website. Well a site exactly the same was setup to help with clues.

Try it out

U.N.I.T

Goto secure login and type badwolf as password. Loads of information regarding Rose and such on there.

or try launching the missile in the same way Mickey did. Login as buffalo then it asks for  password which is badwo, this is exact sequence used in the episode

Oh and Mickeys website Who is doctor who

So who would you prefer as the new Doctor Who then?  If you had the power to have ANYONE as the doctor, who would it be and why?

I'll see what people's answers are and then I'll let you knwo who I would have picked and why.

I don't think that David Tennant will be as good as Eccleston, he doesn't have that sort of mild, casual look about him.

Hi All

Glad we all agree that the new Dr.Who series was fantastic. I myself cannot wait to see David Tennant take the role as Im a big fan of his. I have a suspicion he will hark back to the foppish, dandy type of Doctor made popular by Peter Davison.

What do you think the scope is for a TT pack based on the Doctors adventures? What would you like to see?
